Group Financial Controller – PE-Backed Technology | London | Immediate start
Salary: £120,000 – £130,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
We are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed technology business, seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function through a period of transformation and integration. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded, fully qualified accountant to take ownership of group financial control, reporting, and operational finance across a fast-scaling international business.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the finance team, strengthen governance, and drive key initiatives around integration, systems transformation, and operational efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decisions during a period of rapid growth and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee consolidated financial statements, management accounts, and board reporting
- Lead end-to-end audits and ensure strong compliance across multiple entities
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and process improvement
- Lead integration of acquired businesses, harmonising financial operations and controls
- Manage payroll, intercompany accounting, and statutory compliance across geographies
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering accountability and high performance
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making

Essential Background:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with 7+ years PQE
- Strong experience in transformation, integration, or post-acquisition finance
- Big 4 training or equivalent technical grounding in audit, reporting, and controls
- Proven track record in group financial control, operational finance, and team leadership
- Experience in high-growth, international businesses, ideally PE-backed or scale-up
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills
