Group Financial Controller

The Group Financial Controller is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of this journey leading the Finance team at our Milton Park office.

Reporting to the CFO you will play a key role overseeing global accounting and finance across retail, e-commerce and wholesale operations, including reporting, controls, intercompany activity and team leadership. Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end close process, delivering accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting across the Group
  • Oversee treasury, cash flow, working capital and intercompany accounting across multiple international entities.
  • Drive improvements to finance systems, reporting processes and automation to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, statutory compliance, tax reporting and successful audit delivery.
  • Partner with FP&A to provide financial insight, support forecasting and drive business performance.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Finance team while driving continuous improvement across systems and processes

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant experience in financial control, group reporting and consolidations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, statutory reporting and financial controls.
  • Experienced in leading and developing finance teams within a multi-entity or international business environment.
  • Comfortable managing intercompany transactions, foreign currency exposure and international compliance requirements
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to provide insight and influence strategic decision-making.
  • Experience within retail, consumer goods, e-commerce or other multi-channel environments
