About the Role

We're supporting a specialty insurance business, going through a period of real growth, on the appointment of a Group Financial Controller.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll lead the group/corporate finance function - covering the group's UK and overseas entities - and act as the key link between the wider group and the local finance team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing the group/corporate finance team
  • Ensuring compliance across entities and managing third-party accounting providers
  • Driving a general ledger review and change programme
  • Overseeing finance operations and liaising with auditors at half and full year

Requirements

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years' PQE in a senior finance role in the Lloyd's market
  • Experience accounting for corporate entities and consolidated reporting in a complex group structure
  • Strong leadership and finance change/project experience

Compensation

This is an excellent role for somebody who is looking to work in a business who are undergoing an exciting period of change. You'll be on a salary of £120,000-£130,000 + bonus + benefits with the opportunity to progress across the group.
