Initial 6-month contract role
We're partnering with a leading international investment management business seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support its European finance function.
This is a broad role offering exposure across financial reporting, business partnering, regulatory oversight and operational finance, with responsibility for multiple entities across Europe. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll help drive accurate reporting, support strategic decision-making and contribute to the continued development of a high-performing finance function.

- Manage month-end and financial reporting activities across a portfolio of European entities
- Coordinate year-end reporting and external audit requirements
- Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insight and performance analysis
- Support planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax and statutory obligations
- Review and enhance financial controls, governance and reporting processes
- Lead and develop relationships with both internal and outsourced finance resources
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency

Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience within financial control, reporting or broader finance leadership roles
- Background within financial services, investment management, wealth management or another regulated environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial mindset combined with strong technical accounting capability
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
