PE-Backed Multi-Site Business | London | £145,000-£155,000 + 20% Bonus + Benefits
A high-growth, private equity-backed multi-site business is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to join its London-based Group Finance function. Operating across an extensive international footprint, the business has experienced significant growth through both organic expansion and acquisitions and is entering an exciting new phase of development. This is a high-profile role offering broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, treasury, debt management, business partnering, governance and strategic finance initiatives.
About The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the CFO and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in strengthening the finance function, driving reporting excellence, improving processes and supporting the business through continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of the Group Annual Report and consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
- Own and develop the Group financial reporting framework, accounting policies and compliance processes.
- Oversee monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Present financial performance, forecasts and budget updates to senior leadership.
- Manage and develop a team of qualified accountants.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Technology and Operational functions.
- Drive improvements across financial controls, governance, reporting processes and finance operations.
- Oversee treasury and debt management activities, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, banking relationships and covenant compliance.
- Support debt refinancing, lender reporting and funding-related workstreams.
- Assist with acquisition integrations and broader finance transformation projects.
- Support strategic initiatives including investor reporting, capital raising and ad hoc corporate projects.

About You
- ACA qualified (or overseas equivalent).
- Significant post-qualified experience within Group Finance, Financial Control or Corporate Reporting.
- Strong technical IFRS knowledge and consolidation experience.
- Proven experience within a large, complex, multi-entity international business.
- Demonstrable treasury and debt management experience, including exposure to lender reporting, debt facilities and covenant monitoring.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance and reporting within a PE-backed environment.
- Previous team management and leadership experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organisation.
- Experience supporting M&A, integrations or finance transformation initiatives would be highly advantageous.
- Prior experience within a high-growth, global business undergoing significant scale-up, IPO readiness or public company preparation activities is highly desirable.
