This high growth technology business based in Watford is looking for a Group Financial Controller at 90-110k + Bonus. The role will be 4-5 days in the office, so candidates should live locally or be able to commute to there.
About the Business
The business has taken private equity investment and is growing both organically and through M&A.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage another controller, local accountants, and a team of 5 to 6 group finance people.
- Manage AP/AR, Financial Accounting, Management accounting.
- Work alongside the FP&A Manager.
- Work on integrating companies, dealing with Management information for the Private Equity house.
- Work on a treasury and cash management strategy.
- Work with the Group CFO on a new systems implementation.

Role Overview
This is for someone who has rebuilt a finance team, is happy rolling up their sleeves and getting into the balance sheet, working with the Top 20 auditors. Rolling out global processes, procedures, and getting stuck into the detail, before they can do the higher level strategy piece. This person has the budget, resources, and time to really shape a finance team.

Requirements
- Candidates on a maximum 1-month notice will be considered.
- The business has multiple divisions and is sub-100 million turnover and profitable.
- Must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified as a Financial Controller/Head of Finance with the ability to take on more in the future.
- Must be happy rolling up their sleeves.
