Group Financial Controller | PE-Backed Healthcare

We are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed specialist care business supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs across a growing network of services.

The Group is on an ambitious growth journey, combining organic expansion with a clear appetite for further M&A. As the business continues to scale, they are looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to strengthen the finance function and help build the systems, processes and controls required for the next phase of growth.

This is a genuine opportunity to have an impact in a growing, multisite organisation rather than simply maintaining an established finance function.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of the Group's financial control environment, ensuring accurate, timely and robust reporting across multiple entities, locations and P&Ls.

You will also lead and develop the finance team, drive improvements across systems and processes, and act as a key finance partner to the CFO, CEO and wider senior leadership team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
