Group Financial Controller

£100,000 - £110,000 + Bonus and Benefits

London – Hybrid – 2 days in the office

We are excited to be partnering with an impressive research and data business in their search for a Group Financial Controller. This role is crucial to driving the quality of the accounting processes for the Group through a time of growth and positive change. Working with an impressive SMT you will be part of a high performing team to ensure a scalable operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and own the month-end and year-end close processes, delivering accurate financial results.
  • Support cash flow forecasting and treasury processes.
  • Maintain financial controls and risk management procedures.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and corporate projects.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Finance Systems to embed finance requirements into the new system design.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders to meet all audit and tax deliverables on time.
  • Support the Finance Director and CFO with technical accounting matters as required.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred) with significant post qualified experience within financial control and group roles
  • Proven ability to manage, develop and grow a high-performance team
  • Confident leader and making decisions with proven examples of identifying and solving problems independently
  • Experience of being part of an ERP transformation ideally with SAP S/4 HANA
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain successful stakeholder relationships
