Role: Group Financial Controller – Maternity Cover Contract
Sector: Advertising Agency
Location: London - City
Hybrid: Full Time (3 days in the office)
Contract: Start date November 2026 for approx. 12 months
Salary: c: £80,000
Reporting to: CFO

VisionFR is delighted to be working with a Network Advertising Agency to find them a 12 month maternity cover Group Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will have UK & US GAAP and SOX, will have worked at FC level within a network agency previously (complex multi-organisation, multi territory environment) and will be fully qualified. The role works across the UK entities, encompassing US GAAP financial reporting, statutory audits, tax and team management (8 in the team).

- Accurate and timely financial data reporting for UK management and the US teams.
- Review of monthly and at quarter end - weekly cash forecasts, as well as monthly FX management.
- Oversight of monthly payroll reviews, accruals and journals.
- Calculating and recharging annual shared cost and monthly payroll recharges,
- Review and preparation of monthly VAT returns plus submission for PSA, tax questionnaires, corporation tax reports etc.
- Ad hoc reporting as required.
- Manage relationships with the UK and US Shared Service teams
- Regular reviews of the balance sheet reconciliations, analysis and resolutions.
- Oversight and review of internal controls; review and submission of quarterly SOX audit support.
- Supervision of the statutory and group audits
- Providing guidance and mentoring to the Finance Managers.

The candidate must have:
- Prior Financial Controller experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and UK GAAP; plus SOX compliance
- Professional accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Advertising/media experience
