Group Financial Controller

Contract Type: Permanent
Location: West Drayton (Hybrid - 4 days a week in the office)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £95,000 - £105,000 + Benefits

A growing multi-entity business is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead financial control, reporting, and finance operations across the group.

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee financial reporting, controls, treasury, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities while driving process improvements and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities.
  • Own month-end and year-end close, including consolidated reporting.
  • Oversee treasury, cash management, payroll, and pensions.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
  • Lead statutory audits and relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and financial control requirements.
  • Develop finance systems, reporting processes, and internal controls.
  • Partner with the CFO and leadership team to support business growth and change initiatives.

To Be Suitable

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including statutory reporting, consolidations, and audit management.
  • Experience leading finance teams within a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of treasury, payroll, VAT, PAYE, and financial controls.
  • Advanced Excel and strong finance systems capability.
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and confident influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
