An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join a large international consumer-facing business.
Backed by a leading global private equity investor, the organisation is undergoing significant transformation and growth, with a substantial finance modernisation agenda focused on systems, processes, controls, data, and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in building a best-in-class finance function within a complex international environment.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the Group Financial Controller will lead global financial reporting, control, governance, and shared services activities while supporting strategic growth initiatives and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Oversee group consolidations, multi-currency reporting, and complex entity structures.
- Develop and enhance financial controls, governance frameworks, and reporting processes.
- Lead external audit activities and manage relationships with auditors and advisers.
- Partner with regional finance teams to drive consistency, transparency, and best practice.
- Support treasury, working capital, and cash management initiatives.
- Play a key role in finance transformation, automation, and AI-enabled process improvements.
Candidate Profile
- ACA qualification (or equivalent), ideally trained within a Big 4 environment.
- Significant experience in Group Financial Control, Financial Reporting, or Corporate Reporting roles.
- Experience managing complex international consolidations and multi-entity reporting structures.
- Hands-on SOX control implementation experience.
- Strong ERP and finance systems experience - Oracle preferred.
- Demonstrable leadership experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Exposure to finance transformation, process improvement, automation, or AI initiatives.

This role is hybrid working with the expectation to be in the London office 3 days per week.
