Exel Technology Group are seeking an experienced and ambitious Financial Controller to join the leadership team. This is more than a finance role – it’s an opportunity to build financial insight, control, and confidence that enables a growing group to make better decisions and achieve more.
Role Description
As Financial Controller, you will lead the Group finance function and shape the systems, controls, and insight that underpin our next stage of growth. You will bring clarity to performance, strengthen financial discipline, and turn information into action for leaders across the business.

Responsibilities
- Lead the finance team
- Ensure the regular provision of accurate management accounts and reporting
- Help shape future plans – leading on budgeting and business planning process
- Measure performance through robust KPIs
- Provide commercial finance expertise to the business development function and leadership team in shaping and pricing solutions for customers
What You Will Bring:
- A recognized management accounting qualification and strong commercial finance experience
- Demonstrable experience of leading a finance function and developing others
- The ability to build trusted relationships and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
- A practical, improvement-minded approach, with the confidence to challenge constructively and turn insight into action
- Strong financial control, planning, forecasting, and management reporting capability
