Group Financial Controller
The Group Financial Controller role in Brighton is all about managing the financial operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly for the business services sector. You'll be responsible for overseeing accounting processes, reporting, and compliance to help the company stay on track financially.

Description
- Lead and manage the financial reporting and consolidation process across the group.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and implement effective financial controls and policies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Support the finance team with training and professional development.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.

Profile
A successful Group Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in managing financial controls and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to guide and support a finance team effectively.

Job Offer
- Salary between £90,000 and £100,000, dependent on the level of experience.
