What We Do at Weir

We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably.

Our planet's future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. That's why we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste.

Together, we are driving the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

Make Your Impact

At Weir, you'll play a key role in solving real-world challenges. You'll apply your expertise to deliver results that matter, whether that's through engineering, planning, or customer support. You'll work with purpose, learn every day, and help shape a more sustainable future.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead Weir's Group financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and performance management activities across a FTSE 100 organization.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this highly visible role supports the CFO, Group Executive, and Board by providing insight-led analysis to inform strategic decision-making. You will help shape capital allocation, market guidance, investor messaging, and long-term value creation while ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable financial information is available across the organization.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
