Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Group Fitness Instructor role based at Anytime Fitness in Daventry. The Group Fitness Instructor will lead safe, engaging group exercise classes for members of varying fitness levels, demonstrating proper technique and providing appropriate modifications.

Responsibilities


Get help with your application

- Planning class formats
- Setting up and maintaining equipment
- Ensuring a welcoming, motivational atmosphere
- Interacting with members before and after classes, answering questions, offering basic fitness guidance
- Supporting personal training and club promotions where appropriate
- Collaborating with club staff to uphold brand standards
- Contributing to member retention
- Helping maintain a clean, organized studio environment
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction to safely lead and coach participants of diverse abilities.
- Personal Training and Fitness Industry knowledge to provide basic guidance, support member goals, and understand current best practices.
- Excellent Customer Service skills to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating experience for all members.
- Relevant certifications in group fitness or personal training (e.g., REPs, CIMSPA, or equivalent) and up-to-date CPR/first aid are highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, reliability in a part-time schedule, and the ability to work collaboratively within a gym team environment are important.
- Experience teaching group classes and a genuine passion for health, wellness, and member success are preferred.
