About the Role

A FTSE listed international business are looking for a high-calibre Group FP&A Business Partner to join their dynamic and evolving finance function. This is a highly visible role that will work closely with senior leadership, providing financial insight, challenge and support to drive strategic decision-making across the business.

The organisation is undergoing significant change and transformation, creating an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing financial planning, forecasting and performance reporting processes, whilst helping to shape the future direction of the FP&A function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning processes.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to provide robust challenge, identify opportunities and support business performance.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning and business initiatives.
  • Analyse key business drivers, risks and opportunities, providing clear recommendations to senior management.
  • Support monthly performance reviews, ensuring stakeholders have access to timely and relevant financial information.
  • Drive improvements across FP&A processes, reporting and planning capabilities.
  • Work closely with regional and international finance teams to improve forecast accuracy and consistency.
  • Support strategic projects, business transformation initiatives and other ad hoc commercial analyses.
  • Provide meaningful insight into business performance across multiple geographies, markets and currencies.
  • Assist in the development of reporting frameworks, KPIs and management information to enhance business decision-making.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and business partnering across the finance function.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong post-qualified experience within FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles.
  • Proven end-to-end FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting and analysis.
  • Commercially astute with a strong business partnering mindset.
  • Strong technical accounting experience including IFRS knowledge.
  • Experience working within a large, complex and international organisation.
  • Strong understanding of multi-currency environments and international business performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and management skills with experience partnering with senior stakeholders and presenting financial information to leadership teams.
  • Track record of driving process improvements and supporting change initiatives.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities, with experience of financial planning and reporting systems considered advantageous.
