Typical Activities
Working in collaboration with Finance, Sales, Operations and senior leadership teams across the Group, the Group Head of Commercial Finance & Business Performance will lead financial planning, commercial insight, business intelligence and performance management, helping to create a connected and data-driven approach to decision-making across PentenAmio.
- Lead the Group's commercial finance, business performance and planning agenda, providing insightful and decision-focused reporting to the Executive Team and Board.
- Own Group budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Develop integrated forecasting models linking pipeline, orders, delivery activity, resource capacity, revenue, margin, EBITDA and cash generation.
- Deliver scenario modelling and strategic financial analysis to support investment decisions and Group value creation.
- Develop the Group's business intelligence capability, including executive dashboards, KPI frameworks and performance reporting.
- Establish and maintain a trusted single source of truth for financial, operational and commercial performance data.
- Champion AI-enabled tools and automation to improve forecasting, reporting, insight generation and decision support.
- Partner with Sales, Operations and Delivery leaders to develop customer, project, service-line and regional profitability analysis and support pricing and investment decisions.
- Build and develop a high-performing Commercial Finance function, strengthening finance business partnering capability across the Group.
- Drive consistent forecasting, performance management and reporting practices across regions while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for
- Significant experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering or Business Performance leadership within a fast-paced, growth-oriented organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear, actionable business insight.
- Demonstrable experience influencing senior stakeholders and providing decision support at Executive and Board level.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams, including within geographically dispersed or matrix environments.
- Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial modelling.
- Experience working with Business Intelligence platforms, performance reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to think strategically while remaining grounded in operational and commercial realities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and actionable messages for a range of audiences.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build influential cross-functional relationships and drive shared accountability.
- Strong critical thinking, judgement and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make evidence-based decisions at pace.

Desirable
- Experience within technology, managed services or cyber security environments.
- Experience working within a private equity-backed or similarly fast-growth organisation.
- Experience developing or enhancing Business Intelligence and executive reporting frameworks.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled tools, automation or advanced analytics within Finance or business performance functions.
- Experience supporting value creation initiatives within a growing international Group.

Qualifications & Eligibility
To Be Eligible For This Position You Must
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant relevant commercial finance, FP&A, finance business partnering or business performance experience;
- Be a British citizen;
- Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - SC level clearance.
