Group Head of Decision Support & Performance
A leading financial services firm is looking to appoint a Group Head of Decision Support & Performance to lead its management information, performance and analytical capability. This is a senior finance leadership appointment, with significant exposure to executive management and the Board.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Group's decision support and management information capability.
- Partner with senior business leaders, providing insight, challenge and analysis around financial and commercial performance.
- Deliver high-quality executive and Board reporting, translating complex performance drivers into a clear commercial narrative.
- Own the annual planning and forecasting cycle, including performance tracking and forward-looking analysis.
- Develop reporting and analytics to provide greater visibility of business trends, opportunities and emerging issues.
- Lead a senior team and drive continued improvement across reporting, processes, controls and analytical tools.
- Provide financial modelling, scenario analysis and decision support around strategic and business-wide initiatives.

About you

You will be an established senior finance leader with significant experience in a complex financial services environment in FP&A and/or Product Control capacity. You will have operated with executive-level stakeholders, led and developed teams, and built a track record of providing insight and constructive challenge to senior business leaders.
Strong analytical, commercial and influencing skills are essential, alongside experience of improving finance processes and management information in a sophisticated, well-controlled organisation.
