Group Head of Facilities Midlands Base | UK Travel
£65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
A rare opportunity to build a function from the ground up.
Our client is a successful and expanding professional services organisation with offices across the Midlands and Scotland. Backed by significant investment, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth through acquisition, with ambitious plans to expand its UK office network over the next two years.
To support this next stage of growth, they are creating a brand-new Group Head of Facilities role.
Role Summary: Reporting directly to the C-Suite, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the Group's Facilities function, developing the strategy, standards and governance required to support a growing multi-site business.
Rather than inheriting an established department, you will have the opportunity to shape it. Working closely with senior leadership, you will develop and deliver a Facilities strategy that supports business growth while ensuring every office provides a safe, compliant and professional working environment.
This is a broad leadership role offering genuine influence across the business and the opportunity to support future acquisitions, workplace projects and operational excellence. The role includes responsibility for facilities strategy, operational delivery and building a scalable function to support the firm's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing the Group's Facilities strategy.
- Establishing a dedicated Facilities function to support future growth.
- Leading both hard and soft Facilities Management across multiple locations.
- Managing supplier relationships, procurement and service contracts.
- Overseeing facilities budgets and capital expenditure.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and statutory requirements.
- Leading office moves, refurbishments, fit-outs and workplace improvement projects.
- Supporting the integration of newly acquired offices into the wider business.
- Developing business continuity and workplace resilience plans.
- Producing performance reporting, KPIs and management information for the executive team.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business while acting as the lead for all Facilities matters.
About You: You may already be a Head of Facilities, Regional Facilities Manager, Senior Facilities Manager or hold a similar leadership position, and be looking for the opportunity to step into a broader role with greater strategic influence. You will have:
- Significant experience managing Facilities across a multi-site estate.
- A background within professional services.
- Strong knowledge of workplace operations, compliance and supplier management.
- Experience delivering office relocations, refurbishments, acquisitions or workplace transformation projects.
- Commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets and supplier performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work alongside senior leaders.
- A collaborative and pragmatic leadership style with the ability to build, influence and drive continuous improvement.
