Meraki Talent Exclusively Engages on a Permanent Group Head of Finance
Based in Edinburgh with hybrid/flexible working, paying up to £95,000 FTE plus a competitive benefits package.

The Role
The position of Group Head of Finance represents a genuinely influential senior leadership opportunity, reporting directly to the Managing Director and enjoying regular interaction with the wider SLT and Board. The successful individual will bring an entrepreneurial and commercially minded approach, with the gravitas and capability to influence strategy, business direction and key decision-making. Alongside this strategic remit, the role requires someone who is comfortable being hands-on and taking ownership of the finance function, establishing robust financial rigour, strengthening controls and ensuring high-quality financial reporting. - Board and SLT business partnering & interaction
- Aiding strategy, direction and decision making
- Hiring, training, and development of the finance team and function
- Ownership of finance reporting, control, governance, risk & compliance
- Production and presentation of monthly management accounts & reporting packs
- Budget, forecasting, financial planning & analysis
- Cashflow management, forecasting & analysis
- Liaising with External Advisers - Taxation, Auditors, Banks, Legal
- Ensuring robust month-end close
- Overseeing transactional finance - accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control & payroll
- Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

The employer is ideally looking for an individual to complete a 60% / 3 day per week permanent contract, however is open to slight variations. The position is based in Edinburgh with flexible & hybrid working. The position will also offer:

What You'll Bring
- Qualified Accountant with strong post qualification experience
- Strong group finance experience with multiple entities both domestically and internationally being advantageous
- Proven track record within financial management posts - Finance Manager/Financial Controller/Head of Finance
