The Opportunity

Finatal has partnered with a private equity-backed international technology group transforming the global maritime sector through a market-leading portfolio of software, procurement and data solutions. The group serves over 500 customers and 7,000 vessels worldwide through a collection of leading businesses, delivering technology-enabled solutions that drive operational efficiency, cost optimisation and growth.

Following significant investment and a successful acquisition strategy, the business is entering a critical stage of its evolution. With ambitions to continue scaling both organically and through M&A, the leadership team is seeking a Group Head of FP&A to build and lead a best-in-class financial planning and analysis function capable of supporting a complex, multi-entity international organisation.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity offering direct exposure to the CFO, Board and private equity investors. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, improving business performance and providing the insight required to support future growth and value creation.

The Role

Reporting to the Group CFO and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, the Group Head of FP&A will take ownership of group-wide planning, forecasting and performance reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a single source of truth across the business, delivering robust financial insights and ensuring leadership has the information needed to make strategic decisions. This role will also be instrumental in supporting acquisition integration, enhancing reporting processes and developing scalable planning capabilities as the group continues to grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
