Working closely with the Associate Director of Rostering and Resourcing, you will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of our rostering, temporary staffing and workforce deployment services. You will drive innovation, service improvement and workforce transformation, ensuring we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time.

As the Group Head of Rostering and Resourcing, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for rostering and resourcing and services across Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group.

Working closely with senior leaders, you will lead the development and optimisation of rostering and resourcing systems, ensuring the effective deployment of staff to support safe, high-quality patient care and an excellent staff experience.
You will drive transformation, productivity and service improvement initiatives, using workforce data and intelligence to identify opportunities. The role will provide expert advice on rostering, resourcing and workforce planning matters, helping managers and leaders make informed decisions that enhance our operational effectiveness.
The postholder will oversee governance, reporting and assurance processes, ensuring compliance with national standards, legislation and best practice. Delivering efficiencies and ensuring value for money.
As a compassionate and inclusive leader, you will develop and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. Working across Care Groups, Corporate Directorates and external partners, you will build strong relationships to deliver workforce solutions.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
This role will be across Group and the base will be at one of our 3 sites within Lincoln.
