Department: People
Location: London (Vadella) - Hybrid
Description
Vadella is a growing group, and bringing the right people in is central to where we're going next. This role owns recruitment delivery across all our operating companies. You'll be responsible for a group hiring target, delivered personally and through the TA Coordinator team you lead.
The people we hire across the Vadella Group are mostly skilled field and technical specialists, from asbestos surveyors and water hygiene engineers to building safety roles such as Principal Designers. We also hire into the commercial and support teams that keep each operating company running.
The best candidates for these roles often aren't actively looking and won't be found on the usual job sites. We need someone who is genuinely creative about where and how we reach the right people. It's a hands-on role. You'll recruit for these positions yourself as well as leading a team to do so.
This is a remote role, with some travel required. You'll spend time with our operating companies, particularly as you settle into the role, and occasionally join the Vadella team at our London head office.
Why join us
You'll be building talent acquisition across a growing group, not inheriting someone else's process. You'll work directly with our Chief People Officer and the Managing Directors of each operating company, so your work will be visible and you'll see the difference it makes. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract opportunity (FTC).
What you'll be doing
Delivering the hiring plan
- Own the group hiring plan end to end and deliver against it, working directly with Managing Directors and hiring managers across our operating companies.
- Recruit for your own roles, with a focus on field and technical specialists.
- Keep hiring moving at pace, from brief through to offer and start date.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
