The Group Health and Safety Advisor
The Group Health and Safety Advisor shall report to the Group SHEQ and People Director. They shall assist in driving forward the company goals and objectives in relation to SHEQ.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the business is compliant with all relevant legislation, specifically to the requirements of the Building Safety Act
- Maintaining Group accreditations, or preparing business to achieve new ones
- Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement
- Supporting Group Sustainability and Environmental goals
- Planning and conducting site audits
- Closing out any non conformance reports
- Advising the Group Training and Development Manager on Training needs – in line with the Joint Competency Criteria
- Assist in the writing and delivery of training
- Management of Sub Contractors
- Attend Client Meetings where required
- Maintaining their own Continuous Professional Development
- Ensuring any changes to legislation are implemented and cascaded throughout the business
- Assisting in the investigation of accidents

- Internal auditor desirable
