About the Role

Our client is a Higher Education institution seeking an experienced Group HR Business Partner to join their HR team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, supporting the College's across a number of sites. This is a strategic role offering the opportunity to shape people practices across the organisation, working at a senior level to drive HR policy, reward strategy, and workforce planning. The successful candidate will earn between £52,537 and £61,684, bringing deep expertise in job evaluation, policy development, and reward management to support the college's growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Shape HR strategy across job evaluation, policy, reward, and workforce planning at a group level
  • Earn between £52,537 to £61,684
  • Available to start on no more than one week's notice

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience working in Further Education, such as a college environment
  • Strong expertise in job evaluation and grading frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR policy across an organisation
  • Solid background in reward strategy and compensation planning
  • Experience in workforce planning and organisational development

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent professional HR credential
  • Experience in a group or multi-site HR role within the education sector
  • Knowledge of Further Education pay frameworks and sector-specific HR practices
