🚀 Group KYC Technical Lead 🚀

📍 Ipswich | 2 days in-office per week (Hybrid)
🌍 10-Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
💰 £45,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Please note our client is looking for an immediate starter (maximum 1 month notice period)

📊 The Role

A leading market-specialist insurance broker is seeking a Group KYC Technical Lead to serve as the final technical authority during a critical transformation phase.

Following a recent team restructure and the rollout of an offshore delivery team, this role acts as the stabilising force and "nuance engine" for the business. Combining deep systems expertise with operational governance, you will guide complex case resolutions, empower the offshore function, and establish lasting playbooks to safeguard the firm's global control model.

💡 Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead technical SME for KYC systems, workflows, and Salesforce execution, making reasoned judgements on complex, non-standard cases
  • Provide functional day-to-day oversight, QA feedback, and coaching to the offshore team to build long-term capability
  • Apply expert risk judgement to resolve post-restructure legacy backlogs and un-templated client files
  • Partner with technology teams to translate operational pain points into Salesforce system fixes, improving data quality and user experience
  • Build trusted, credible relationships across Compliance, Financial Crime, and business teams, translating regulatory expectations into pragmatic solutions
  • Create decision trees, playbooks, and SOPs as a permanent operational legacy that will outlive the contract

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
