Job Title: Group Privacy Adviser

Reports to: Group Privacy Counsel

Location: Leeds, Manchester or London.

Contract type: Permanent

Shift pattern: Full time

We make health happen

At Bupa, our purpose is helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. As our Group Privacy Adviser, you’ll play an important part in that purpose by helping us use personal data responsibly.

Data is one of the key pillars of Bupa’s strategy. With more digital, data and AI-led solutions shaping the future of healthcare and insurance, strong privacy advice has never been more important. In this Group Privacy Adviser role, you’ll help Bupa manage privacy, AI and legal risk across the Group, while supporting practical, commercially aware decisions that protect our customers, our people and our business.

You’ll join the Group Privacy team and work with colleagues across Bupa, including Legal, Global Functions and our Market Units. It’s a great opportunity to bring your privacy, data protection, digital and AI knowledge into a global organisation with a clear purpose and a strong focus on doing the right thing.

Key Responsibilities

As Group Privacy Adviser, you’ll:

  • Provide practical privacy, data protection, digital and AI legal advice to teams and functions across Bupa.
  • Support teams and functions across Bupa by carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments, Legitimate Interest Assessments and reviewing Data Processing Agreements and intra-group agreements.
  • Help develop and maintain Bupa’s Enterprise Privacy Policy, standards, governance and reporting.
  • Keep up to date with changes in privacy law, digital regulation and external best practice.
  • Help build privacy awareness and capability across Bupa through briefings, guidance and training.
  • Support the assessment and implementation of new technology, data and AI solutions, helping to embed privacy by design.
  • Work in line with Bupa’s values: Brave, Caring and Responsible.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
