Role Description
The Group Management Accountant will play a central role in managing and reporting financial performance across the Iolas Capital group and its portfolio businesses. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater London, with flexibility for part of the work to be done from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Preparing and consolidating management accounts
- Overseeing month-end processes
- Ensuring accurate recording of accruals and other key adjustments
- Producing and reviewing financial statements
- Analysing variances against budget and forecast
- Providing insightful commentary to support decision-making

The role involves collaborating closely with portfolio finance teams, supporting the implementation of robust financial controls, and contributing to continuous improvements in reporting and performance management.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and finance skills, including experience with Financial Statements and solid knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles.
- Proficiency in month-end processes, including Accruals and other key adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and present clear, concise insights to stakeholders.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience, ideally with prior group or multi-entity reporting exposure.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, and familiarity with modern accounting and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working cross-functionally and partnering with operational and leadership teams.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical, transparent financial practices.
- Experience in private equity, investment firms, or sectors such as property services, construction, or interiors is beneficial but not essential.
