Group Management Accountant
Ascent Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, international SME in Manchester to appoint a Group Management Accountant.
About the Role
Reporting to an excellent Financial Controller as their number two, this is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility for month-end across a complex multi-entity, multi-currency group.
You’ll get involved in:
- Owning month-end processes across multiple group entities
- Management accounts, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
- Intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
- Improving finance processes, reporting and controls
- Using Excel, Power BI and technology to drive efficiencies
- Cash management, bank reconciliations and payment runs
- Supporting audit and working with stakeholders across the business
- Supporting and guiding the wider finance team

Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified, part-qualified or studying, with strong hands-on month-end experience and a genuine interest in improving processes rather than simply maintaining them.
