Head Office Finance | Group Exposure

We’re partnering with a hugely successful, internationally focused manufacturing organisation to appoint a Part Time Group Management Accountant into its Head Office finance team.

This is a varied Group finance role with a good mix of reporting, control, cash management and intercompany activity, audit, tax, and Group reporting. It would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of a varied remit and working closely with senior stakeholders across a complex Group structure.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the Head Office accounts, supporting Group reporting, and helping ensure strong financial control across a number of legal entities.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a wide range of financial accounting and control activities, including:

  • Month-end and Group reporting

    • Ownership of the Group Head Office accounts and trial balance, including completion of the monthly Group reporting package.
    • Preparing and posting monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, interest, and loan amounts.
    • Completing intercompany reconciliations.
    • Producing monthly reports covering Head Office overheads and key KPIs.
    • Taking ownership of three holding companies, maintaining trial balances, and accounting for intercompany transactions, dividends, and loan interest.
    • Completing balance sheet reconciliations across all Group Head Office entities.
  • Financial Accounting & Control

    • Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash book postings.
    • Preparation of VAT, P11Ds, and PSA returns, ensuring best practice/compliance across the Group.
    • Preparation of quarterly Group management recharges to the Global Business Units, ensuring Transfer Pricing requirements are met.
    • Ownership of Head Office accounts payable for a small amount of Group service providers.
    • Completion of payroll reconciliations and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
