Group Management Accountant
PE-Backed Professional Services
Location: London | Hybrid
Package: Up to £60,000 + Bonus and Benefits
Nirvana Search is partnering with a highly successful, Private Equity-backed professional services business to recruit a versatile and hands-on Group Management Accountant.
You will be joining a highly acquisitive and rapidly growing division within the broader group. With a strong pipeline of M&A activity, this is a fast-paced environment where finance plays a critical role in driving and supporting commercial success.
This is a truly broad, all-encompassing position. The business requires a proactive finance professional who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves for core accounting tasks as they are delivering high-level reporting to the group.
You will be responsible for:
- End-to-End Accounting: Taking full ownership of the numbers, from core transactional oversight through to the preparation and delivery of full management accounts.
- Core Finance Duties: Managing all month-end processes, including prepayments, accruals, journal entries, and VAT returns.
- M&A Support & Integration: Playing a key role in supporting the division through heavy M&A activity, assisting with the financial integration and onboarding of new acquisitions.
- Data & Process Improvement: Spearheading data cleansing initiatives to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across the division and wider group.
- Group Collaboration: Acting as the primary finance contact for this growing division, while providing robust support and reporting to the wider group finance function.

Knowledge and Experience
- Experience: A proven track record as a Management Accountant, Senior Finance, or Finance Manager, ideally within a fast-paced SME environment.
- Qualifications: Part-Qualified, Finalist, or Newly Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA), or qualified by experience (QBE).
- Adaptability: Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating the ambiguity of a PE-backed or heavily acquisitive business.
- Hands-On Approach: A "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality; you must be willing to get into the weeds of the data while maintaining a strategic view of the division's performance.
