An exceptional opportunity is available for a Group Management Accountant to join our trailblazing team at one of the premier global organisations in event management and communications. We are at the forefront of revolutionising the communications, engagement, and events sectors. With an impressive legacy spanning over 50 years, we're not just adapting to change; we're driving it, setting the gold standard for the industry. Our mission is to transform the landscape of communications and events, empowering our clients to do things others cannot.

Our team is not just a workforce; it's a community of client-centric professionals dedicated to delivering excellence. Here, you won't just be another cog in the wheel. You'll be a key member of a growing international team, working closely with senior leadership and playing a pivotal role in supporting our expansion across the APAC region.

This is an extraordinary chance to become the first finance operational hire in our APAC office in Singapore, helping to build and shape the region's financial infrastructure and processes whilst supporting the wider business.

About the Role

Reporting to the UK-based Chief Financial Officer, the Group Management Accountant will take primary responsibility for the financial management, reporting and control of our APAC operations, while working closely with the CFO and wider finance team across Group finance activities.

You will drive the APAC month-end close, maintain strong balance sheet controls, support Group reporting and ensure the Singapore business meets its financial, tax and statutory obligations.

This is a hands-on role for a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership, investigating issues and improving how things are done. You will be equally comfortable working through a detailed reconciliation, supporting a commercial project and working with senior stakeholders across an international business.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounting & Financial Control

  • Own and drive the APAC month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with the Group timetable.
  • Work closely with the CFO and wider finance team to support Group reporting, consolidation and management accounting activities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and supporting schedules.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, deferred income, WIP, intercompany balances and other key accounting adjustments.
  • Review project revenue, cost of sales and margins, ensuring appropriate revenue and cost recognition and proactively investigating anomalies.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and high-quality working papers, ensuring finance remains audit-ready throughout the year.
  • Proactively investigate discrepancies and accounting issues, ensuring they are understood and appropriately resolved.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardise and automate financial processes and controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Strong hands-on experience preparing management accounts and managing a month-end close.
  • Excellent understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, deferred income and intercompany accounting.

  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and variance analysis experience.
  • Experience working within a multi-entity and multi-currency environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems and financial data.
  • Experience supporting audit and maintaining high-quality financial working papers.
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore GST, taxation and statutory compliance would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience within an international or regional finance function, including exposure to cross-border business and multiple jurisdictions, would be advantageous.
  • Experience within events, professional services, agency, communications or another project-based business would be beneficial.

Why Join Us?

  • Be the first finance hire in a growing APAC business.
  • Work directly with the CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Play a key role in shaping financial processes and supporting regional growth.
  • Join a global business with an established reputation and ambitious growth plans.
