Group Management Accountant
£60,000 - £70,000 | Kidlington, Oxfordshire | Permanent
The Employment Network is recruiting for a technically strong and ambitious Group Management Accountant to join a successful and growing business based in Kidlington.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role covering management accounting, group consolidation, intercompany accounting, budgeting and forecasting, alongside management of an Assistant Management Accountant.
There is genuine progression available, with the potential longer-term to step into the Financial Controller position and become No.2 to the CFO.

Key responsibilities:
- Monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Group consolidation and intercompany accounting/reconciliations
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end
- Management information, KPIs and financial analysis
- Business partnering and identifying opportunities to improve performance and processes
- Management and development of an Assistant Management Accountant
- Year-end and audit support
About you:
- Strong technical management accounting experience
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or strong QBE
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Experience managing/developing junior finance staff
- Proactive, commercially minded and confident challenging existing processes
- Ambitious and keen to progress
- Group consolidation/intercompany experience advantageous, but not essential
- Sage Intacct experience advantageous
- Happy working full-time, office-based in Kidlington
