About the Company

We're partnering with a successful and rapidly expanding UK business that has grown significantly through both acquisition and organic growth. As the organisation continues to evolve, an opportunity has arisen for a talented Management Accountant to join the finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience beyond traditional management accounts, with exposure to acquisitions, business integration, commercial finance, statutory reporting, and finance transformation projects.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts process for a number of group entities while providing financial insight and support to key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Analyse financial performance and explain variances against budget and forecast
  • Prepare journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and reporting standards
  • Assist with statutory accounts preparation and year-end audits

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
