Business Unit: Marketing
Reporting to: Group Chief Commercial Officer

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and visionary Group Marketing Director to take the helm of our global marketing function. In this pivotal leadership role, you will define and execute a modern, digital-first marketing strategy that drives commercial growth, elevates the Creditinfo brand, and unifies our global and regional teams. If you are a strategic powerhouse with a passion for MarTech, demand generation, and high-performance team leadership, we want to hear from you.

Main Objectives

The main objective for the Group Marketing team is to set and execute a global marketing strategy that aligns regional marketing activity, embeds modern digital marketing capability across the business and tracks performance against clearly defined KPIs. The role is accountable for shaping the group marketing operating model, managing the group marketing budget, improving return on marketing spend and identifying ways to reduce cost or deliver greater impact from the same level of investment. The Group Marketing strategy should combine regional marketing plans with a centrally led digital engine that integrates with the group CRM system, automates outbound campaign execution and uses marketing signals to identify warm leads for regional and group sales teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the group marketing function, including setting goals, defining processes, and establishing best practices.
  • Define and drive the overall global marketing strategy and execution, ensuring group and regional activity is aligned to company goals, market trends, pipeline priorities and measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Lead group marketing resources directly and provide dotted-line leadership to regional marketing leads, ensuring consistent standards, priorities, ways of working and performance management across group and regions.
  • Map and continuously develop the group marketing function across demand generation, digital marketing, PR, internal communications, external communications, events, product marketing, advertising, thought leadership and websites.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and develop digital-first marketing strategies that deliver leads, build brand awareness and position Creditinfo as a leader in its chosen domains.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers with the objective of raising Creditinfo’s brand.
  • Design and implement a group-wide digital marketing operating model, leveraging the latest marketing technology to automate campaign planning, content production, execution, measurement and lead routing across group and regional teams.
  • Integrate digital marketing activity with the group CRM platform to connect outbound campaigns across email, social media, website engagement, content downloads, open rates and other engagement data, creating actionable marketing signals and warm-lead intelligence.
  • Automate the creation and orchestration of thought leadership, proposition content, campaign themes and targeted messaging to support priority solutions, sectors and regions.
  • Develop lead-scoring and handover processes so that warm leads generated through digital campaigns are prioritised and directed to the appropriate regional or group sales teams for follow-up.
  • Track and analyse marketing activities both regionally and globally through performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Set the group strategy for marketing, chair the monthly group marketing board with regional marketing leaders and key stakeholders such as sales, pre-sales team leaders.
  • Ensure timely targets are in place for all marketing teams across all regions and ensure the dashboard it updated to track all performance against targets.
  • Responsible for redesign of group website, and work with regions to updated and refresh all CI websites.
  • Create and maintain an annual central marketing plan that then feeds into annual and 3 Year planning strategy.
  • Manage the group marketing budget, ensuring costs remain within agreed limits while actively identifying opportunities to reduce spend, improve efficiency or deliver stronger results from the same investment.
  • Identify priority areas for investment, build strong business cases for additional funding where required and ensure marketing resources are allocated to the initiatives most likely to generate pipeline, revenue impact and brand growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
