Head of Brand / Group Marketing Manager

Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: 40k DOE

We’re looking for a Head of Brand to join our growing recruitment group and take ownership of our marketing, brand and lead generation activity across multiple businesses within the group.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused marketing role for someone who understands the recruitment industry and wants genuine ownership over how brands are positioned, promoted and marketed.

You’ll work closely with directors, consultants and teams across the group, helping turn great recruitment businesses into strong, recognisable brands that generate engagement, attract talent and support business growth.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning and developing the marketing and brand strategy across multiple recruitment businesses
  • Managing and developing LinkedIn, social media and personal branding across the group
  • Driving lead generation and recruitment marketing activity
  • Creating and optimising content, job adverts and social campaigns
  • Managing job board activity and monitoring performance to ensure adverts are delivering
  • Creating brand collateral, pitch decks, client materials, presentations and sales assets
  • Supporting consultants with their personal branding and content
  • Delivering LinkedIn and content training to new starters and existing teams
  • Managing brand consistency across the group
  • Supporting new starter onboarding, including branded materials and digital profiles
  • Working with external marketing agencies and partners where required
  • Supporting group-wide campaigns, events, presentations and internal communications
  • Identifying new opportunities to improve our marketing, brand visibility and lead generation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Creative, with a strong eye for brand and content
  • Confident writing for different audiences and platforms
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and recruitment consultants
