Purpose of Role
The ISP Operational Risk Training Manager reports to the Group Head of Operational Risk. The position is responsible for producing training material in safeguarding, safety, educational visits and boarding for all schools, regions and group.
ISP Group Operational Risk Training Manager Key Responsibilities
Safeguarding
- Working with the Group Safeguarding Managers to produce training materials and learning experiences for all ISP employees.
- Review and update current in-house training to ensure it is user-friendly, engaging and meets the needs of ISP.
- Working with schools and the learning team to provide suitable training and learning experiences that support Skills for Life and underpins the ISP Group’s safeguarding philosophy of early intervention.

Safety
- Working with the Group Safety Managers to produce relevant training materials and learning experiences that will support school Health and Safety Coordinators and school heads in building strong safety cultures within each and every ISP school.
- Working with the Operational Risk Team to ensure that ISP has engaging and user-friendly training for all employees in relation to Educational visits and Boarding.
Other
- Perform any other reasonable tasks or activities that are assigned.
- To be fully effective, the role requires collaboration with colleagues and partners at a variety of levels, including SLT, management, contractors and consultants.
- Adhere to the ISP policies, rules and procedures including but not limited to Code of Conduct, Health and Safety, Dignity at Work, and all other legislative, governance and best practice requirements.
Skills, Qualifications And Experience
- Proven skills in the production of in-house training materials and learning experiences.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of safeguarding and safety.
- International education experience is desired.
- Bi or multi-lingual is desired with Spanish as a preference.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Disciplined, self-motivated and focused on targets - able to work in isolation.
- Driven and able to meet realistic deadlines.
- Adaptable to different cultures and situations.
