A look into the role
As an Order Picker, you’ll collect your pick truck, terminal and voice headset at the start of your shift and complete the required safety checks before beginning your work. You’ll collect your picking assignment, which may involve building up to four customer cages at one time, and use a voice-picking headset linked to the Warehouse Management System to guide you around the warehouse. You’ll accurately pick the required products and quantities, checking for damage and building cages carefully so goods are secure and ready for delivery.
Once your assignment is complete, you’ll take the cages to the loading area, wrap them where required and then collect your next assignment. The role involves regular manual handling, including moving cages and lifting items weighing up to 25kg. You’ll be expected to work safely, accurately and efficiently, meet agreed picking targets and help maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.

Earning Potential
Hourly rate starts at £15.61 per hour, increasing to at least £17.26 if you achieve 100%+ performance. The average performance in this department is 110%. *Correct at time of posting.
What we’re looking for:
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience working within in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-focused approach to work
- A demonstrable ability to work towards targets or KPIs
As this is a nightshift role, applicants must be aged 18 or over to comply with legislative requirements

It is desirable if you have:
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Experience using warehouse management systems
- Pick Truck trained – (LLOP valid licence or equivalent)
- Manual handling trained
- Experience in the voice picking procedure within a warehouse.

Hours of Work
We have a number of part-time and full-time opportunities available, working Sunday-Thursday, from 6pm-2am (Job to Finish).
