Group Procurement Manager
Hours: Monday-Friday, Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office
Location: Birmingham Head Office

The Role
As a Group Procurement Manager, you will develop and deliver strategic procurement plans across a range of business-critical spend areas, ensuring the best balance of cost, quality, service, innovation, and risk management. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own category strategies, manage supplier relationships, lead procurement activity from sourcing through to contract management, and support the development of colleagues across the team.

Our Birmingham Head Office brings together central and group functions that support the wider 2 Sisters Food Group business. Modern workspaces, collaborative meeting areas, and a fast-paced environment enable teams from across the business to work together in supporting our manufacturing sites, customers, and colleagues throughout the UK.

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and implement procurement and category strategies to deliver business objectives, commercial value, and savings targets.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, tendering, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to drive performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor market, commodity, and industry trends to support commercial decision-making and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and deliver effective procurement solutions.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while contributing to cross-functional projects and wider procurement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize cost, quality, service levels, and sustainability across assigned categories.
What We Are Looking For
- Significant procurement experience with a proven track record in category management across one or more spend areas.
- Experience developing and delivering procurement strategies in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Direct line management and leadership experience.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality, service, and risk considerations.
- Proactive, self-sufficient approach with a positive attitude and a focus on driving results.
- CIPS qualification or working towards CIPS would be advantageous.
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, retail, or supply chain environments would be beneficial.
