Group Procurement Manager - Food

The Ivy Collection has an excellent opportunity for a Group Procurement Manager - Food to join the team as the Ivy brand continues to grow and expand.

In this role, you will support the development of procurement best practices, negotiate favourable supplier terms, conditions and pricing, and monitor supplier compliance with technical and legal requirements. You will also keep up to date with market trends and assess their impact on the business.

Working closely with the wider team, you will contribute to the financial success of the Group by implementing and driving a Group Procurement Policy that delivers cost efficiencies without compromising on quality or ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage food categories across all Group restaurants and clubs, in line with the Procurement Director’s strategy.
  • Maximise procurement income through listing fees, retrospective discounts and supplier support funds.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, contracts and cost management through to implementation.
  • Drive supplier and product consolidation to improve efficiency and value.
  • Monitor supplier compliance, due diligence, environmental standards and ethical practices.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and invoicing through effective use of procurement systems.
  • Support restaurant profitability, budget delivery and overhead reduction.
  • Implement best-practice procurement and stock management processes.
  • Deliver ad hoc projects as required by the Group Procurement Director.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder management, networking and influencing skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and hospitality/retail category management.
  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-site, high-growth environments.
  • Proven negotiation skills and track record of delivering cost savings.
  • Cross-category experience and a proactive approach to business improvement.
  • Ability to lead, develop and coach a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong change management, data analysis, reporting and project management skills.
