About Us

Seccl is the Octopus-owned embedded investment platform on a mission to help more people invest – and invest well.

We’re B-Corp certified, with remarkable product-market fit, impressive early traction, and the potential to revolutionise an outdated industry for the better. We’ve been growing rapidly and are set to scale even faster over the next few years.

Part of the £multi-billion Octopus group, we join forces with businesses like Octopus Energy, Octopus Investments and Octopus Money to transform broken industries. Visit the Seccl website for updates on products and our mission to shape the future of investments.

The Role

We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to join our product team. This role sits at the heart of the Seccl platform, shaping core capabilities that our clients rely on to build and scale their investment propositions.

Responsibilities

You’ll focus on delivering a stable, flexible platform while continuously improving experiences for both adviser and fintech clients.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, translating these into a clear product direction and ensuring solutions support diverse business models and customer journeys.
  • Act as an influential leader of multiple Product Managers across squads, setting direction, aligning priorities, and driving strategic initiatives in your domain.
  • Collaborate with the two other GPMs to shape the end-to-end platform roadmap.

A typical day includes:

  • Setting the vision and strategy for your tribal area, planning 6–18 months ahead.
  • Building and maintaining clear, coherent roadmaps that balance short-term delivery with long-term value.
  • Developing strong relationships with advisers, developers, and firms, deeply understanding workflows, pain points, and needs.
  • Leading, coaching, and supporting Product Managers to grow, prioritise, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • Working closely with engineering leadership to deliver scalable, reliable, compliant platform capabilities.
  • Driving alignment across squads to ensure shared context, collaboration, and consistency.
  • Championing customer-centric decisions through discovery, data-driven insights, and tight feedback loops with stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with commercial, operations, support, and compliance teams to balance near-term and long-term business needs.
  • Improving processes that impact experience and efficiency.
  • Shaping product culture and scaling ways of working as the organisation grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
