At Pets at Home, we're proud to operate over 450 stores and 400+ veterinary practices across the UK, with ambitious plans for continued growth. We're now looking for a Group Property Asset Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract and help maximise the performance and long-term value of our property portfolio.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Property, you'll take ownership of a defined region, managing both trading and non-trading assets. From rent reviews and lease renewals to landlord negotiations and identifying asset management opportunities, you'll play a key role in ensuring our estate remains fit for the future.
This role offers a 12-month fixed-term contract as maternity cover and will be field based, requiring regular travel across the north and east of England, and to our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading rent review and lease renewal negotiations
- Identifying opportunities to optimise portfolio performance
- Managing landlord and tenant matters, including licences, deeds of variation and dilapidations
- Building strong relationships across the property industry
- Supporting service charge, rates, insurance and budget management activities
- Providing commercially focused estate management advice that supports business growth
About You
- Property or estates management experience, ideally within a retail environment
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive positive outcomes
- Analytical problem-solver with excellent attention to detail
- MRICS qualified (preferred, not essential)
- Comfortable travelling when required and working in a hybrid environment
