Group Property Services Administrator
Join us as a Group Property Services Administrator at Bettys and Taylors Group - Our family business is home to three iconic Yorkshire brands - Yorkshire Tea, Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Property Services Administrator to join Bettys and Taylors busy Group Property Services (GPS) team on a permanent basis.
Based at our Plumpton Park (HG2 7LD) site in Harrogate, the property team supports all our operations and ensures our customers are delighted by their surroundings through the maintenance, repair and improvement of our properties and facilities.
To meet growing business needs, we are recruiting this role on a full-time basis, but we can be open to other flexible working arrangements, e.g. hybrid working and amended start and finish times within our core operating hours. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Answering and dealing effectively and efficiently with calls.
- Be an initial contact for GPS contractor and external visitors.
- Provide site inductions for new contractors and oversee signing in/out of keys.
- Managing multiple email inboxes, reviewing and responding as appropriate.
- Assisting in preparation of correspondence, presentations & other documents.
- Copying, scanning and filing of documents.
- Meeting management e.g. booking meetings, co-ordinating agenda items, taking notes and keeping track of action logs.
- Update, maintain and file compliance documents for approved contractors.
- Supporting the management of our fob access control, CCTV and ANPR systems.
- Provide support to the GPS Co-ordinator to ensure effective administration of our facilities management system, assigning and recording maintenance tasks.
- Financial administration support e.g. raising POs, invoice management, liaising with Finance Business Partners and tracking department spend.
- Providing general support to the GPS team e.g. placing parts orders.

In addition to having excellent relationship building skills and a proactive attitude, the ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in an administration role ideally in a Property/Facilities function, or within a manufacturing or catering/retail environment.
- The ability to prioritise, manage and coordinate a busy workload.
- The ability to be able to work in a fast moving and reactive environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
