Your Purpose
As our Group Reporting Accountant, you’ll play an important role in supporting the production of Travelodge’s external financial reporting, giving you the opportunity to gain valuable experience across group reporting, statutory accounts, tax, audits and month-end financial accounting.
Working closely with our Group Reporting Manager and the wider Financial Control and CFO teams, you’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of responsibilities, from preparing journals, reconciliations and management accounts to supporting VAT and corporation tax returns, statutory audits and the consolidation of our overseas entities. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your leadership experience, with a Balance Sheet Control Accountant reporting into you.

Based at our Support Centre, this is a great opportunity if you’re making your first move from practice and want a role that will give you broad commercial exposure, continued development and the chance to be part of a collaborative finance team.
Your Strengths
You’ll be ACA qualified, although ACCA or CIMA qualifications will also be considered. You’ll have experience in financial accounting or reporting, gained either within practice or a multi-site organisation.
You’ll be detail-focused, proactive and adaptable, with the confidence to take on new challenges and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. You’ll be comfortable constructively challenging the status quo and spotting opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

- Salary up to £62,000 plus Annual Bonus
