Group Reporting Accountant | Global Digital Marketing & Technology Business

📍 London | Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

Stanton House are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, global digital marketing and technology business to recruit a Group Reporting Accountant. Reporting directly to the Group Reporting Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a fast-paced, international organisation operating at the forefront of digital transformation, data, media and artificial intelligence. The business has built a strong reputation for innovation, entrepreneurial thinking and providing integrated services to some of the world's leading brands.

With operations spanning over 90 entities across North America, Asia and Latin America, this role offers outstanding exposure to group reporting, consolidation, external reporting and global stakeholder management within a complex, multinational environment.

This role is highly suitable for ACA Qualified Assistant Audit Managers or Audit Managers looking for their first move out of practice into industry.

The role:

As a key member of the Group Reporting team, you will play a central role in the monthly and year-end reporting cycle, supporting consolidation activities and helping to drive continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the group consolidation process from start to finish across a complex international business
  • Reviewing balance sheet and profit and loss account submissions across multiple entities
  • Supporting the monthly close process and ensuring reporting deadlines are met
  • Assisting with intercompany reconciliations and elimination processes
  • Working closely with tax, treasury, FP&A, legal and regional finance teams globally
  • Supporting year-end audit activities and responding to external auditor queries
  • Contributing to annual report preparation and other external reporting requirements
  • Delivering training and supporting improvements to reporting processes and controls
  • Driving efficiencies across systems, reporting and financial processes
  • Participating in ad hoc finance transformation and systems projects

What we're looking for:

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant
  • Big 4 trained candidates highly desirable
  • Practice candidates ideally operating at Assistant Manager or Manager level looking to make a first move into industry
  • Industry candidates with large-scale group consolidation experience also encouraged to apply
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles
  • Experience working with complex, multi-entity or multinational organisations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage across global teams
  • Excellent analytical and data review capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP or consolidation systems
  • Motivated, inquisitive and keen to develop within a dynamic environment
