Job Description
The Group Reporting Team is responsible for management and reporting of QIC Antares financials to QIC Antares Executive/QIC Group (Parent Company, in Qatar). QIC Antares Financials involve multilayers of consolidations: Antares at Lloyd’s Group, Antares Reinsurance Group, Antares Insurance, Antares Global Management and, ultimately, QIC Antares Group.
The focus of this Group Reporting Accountant role will be on providing high-quality management and financial reporting for the assigned group(s) of entities and related consolidation. This role will also contribute to the Group Financial Reporting team in the overall financial close and reporting process and production of all financial reporting deliverables and analysis for QIC Antares Group of entities.
Further, this role is responsible for ongoing process and procedure reviews specifically focused on key consolidation processes, analytical review of group reporting outputs, monitoring of key controls and supporting business-wide process improvement projects and system change.
The role has been created to strengthen Group Reporting capacity, ensuring the team is well positioned to absorb and deliver the requirements of the FTP while maintaining momentum across its broader reporting responsibilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
