Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Full-time

About the Role:

We are hiring for a Group Reporting Manager to join our Group Finance function at BSI, based in Covent Garden, London.

This is a pivotal role within our External Reporting team, responsible for managing the Group’s financial reporting and consolidation processes, including the delivery of monthly Group Management Accounts and the year-end statutory reporting for the Group and UK subsidiaries. You will play a lead role in shaping the integrity of financial reporting across our global operations and in driving continuous improvement in our consolidation and reporting processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong, collaborative and commercially astute finance professional with significant IFRS and multi-currency consolidation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production of the Group’s monthly consolidated Management Accounts and accompanying Board and Group Leadership Team commentary.
  • Manage the preparation of year-end Group financial statements and UK subsidiary statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP and other statutory reporting requirements.
  • Lead and develop a small, high-performing Group Reporting team.
  • Act as the key point of contact for external auditors, managing audit planning, deliverables, and resolution of technical queries.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and produce position papers for complex transactions or changes in reporting standards.
  • Partner with Group-wide finance teams to implement new accounting standards and enhance reporting processes.
  • Drive improvements in the Group’s consolidation and reporting processes, leading on system integrity, reporting pack design and process efficiency initiatives.
  • Manage the quarterly Group balance sheet review process and oversee completion of regulatory returns.
  • Support ESG reporting disclosures and related external reporting developments.
  • Work closely with FP&A, tax, treasury, legal and business finance teams to ensure integrity and consistency of financial data across the Group.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, including in-depth knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Significant experience of multi-currency Group consolidations, ideally in a global, multi-entity business or large accounting practice.
  • A proven track record in delivering Group statutory and management reporting, managing audit processes, and providing technical accounting advice.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in consolidation systems (experience of Oracle EPM and SAP advantageous) and advanced Excel skills.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
