Group Reporting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Group Reporting Manager to join a growing international PE backed Tech/SaaS business on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely group reporting, managing the external audit process, and supporting investor reporting requirements across multiple international entities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking broad exposure to group consolidation, private equity-backed reporting, audit management, and strategic finance projects within a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly group consolidation process across UK and European entities.
- Prepare and deliver monthly management and investor reporting packs.
- Manage the preparation of group and UK statutory accounts.
- Act as the primary finance contact for external auditors, coordinating audit requests and ensuring timely delivery of information.
- Challenge and prioritise audit requirements where appropriate to ensure an efficient audit process.
- Work closely with local finance teams across multiple regions to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Support lender and investor reporting requirements.
- Assist with ongoing consolidation and finance transformation projects, including the implementation and optimisation of reporting processes.
- Provide support on corporate activity including acquisitions, refinancing, recapitalisations, and other investor-led initiatives as required.
- Investigate reporting issues and work through underlying ledger-level data to identify and resolve discrepancies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
