Group Reporting Manager
London | 6–12 Month FTC | Opportunity to Go Permanent
£500PD - £650PD inside - depending on experience
A leading organisation operating within the infrastructure and energy sector is looking to appoint a Group Reporting Manager to join its high-performing Group Finance function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a collaborative reporting team, taking ownership of statutory reporting, technical accounting and external financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment.
The role offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to contribute to ongoing process improvements within a growing finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate quarterly external and shareholder reporting packs.
- Lead the production of statutory financial statements for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines.
- Provide technical accounting guidance, with particular responsibility for lease accounting under IFRS 16.
- Support the preparation and review of deferred tax calculations and disclosures.
- Monitor financial covenant compliance and assist with external reporting obligations.
- Support the group consolidation process and year-end reporting activities.
- Liaise with external auditors, finance teams and key internal stakeholders throughout reporting cycles.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, strengthen financial controls and improve efficiencies.

About You
- ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Strong experience within group financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
- Good technical accounting knowledge, including practical application of IFRS standards.
- Experience working within a complex, multi-entity organisation.
- Confident managing relationships with auditors and senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.
- Proactive, organised and keen to drive continuous improvement.

Previous experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy or another asset-intensive business would be beneficial but is not essential.
