We’re working with a large, complex listed business to appoint an Head of Reporting for an initial 9 - 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting into the finance leadership team, this is a senior and highly visible role with ownership of Group reporting, consolidation and external financial reporting, alongside leadership of the technical accounting and consolidation teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of the annual report, interim financial statements and monthly Group reporting
- Own the Group consolidation process, including cash flow, FX, reserves and post-close adjustments
- Oversee technical accounting, including the implementation of new IFRS standards and complex accounting matters
- Act as a key contact for external auditors, senior leadership and the Audit Committee
- Draft and review Audit Committee and technical accounting papers
- Lead, coach and develop the wider Group Reporting & Consolidation team

What we’re looking for:
- ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
- UK listed company experience is essential
- Significant experience preparing and reviewing listed Group accounts, annual reports and interim statements
- Strong technical knowledge across IFRS and UK GAAP
- Previous leadership experience within a Group Reporting / Controllership environment
- Experience working closely with auditors, Audit Committees and senior stakeholders
